billiards players help pool cue?

So my relatives just recently bought me a pool cue i think its a cheapy but how come whenever i go play with my friends and stuff like once a month they laugh at me cuz i have a screw on tip im not a pro player i hardly play at all but whats so bad about screw on tip.

kick their *** , then nothing. Screw on tip, i actually never heard of. People blame the pool cues or the tables but if you get good than a branch off a tree is good.
