Me and my friends are looking to shoot some pool next week [we're all in high school]. The pool halls that I had in mind closed down. 65th st and 8th ave, and 60th st and 9th ave in Brooklyn. I found some pool halls in soho, but I'm not sure on the price. We're trying to go around $10 an hour. Anyone can help?

btw, does anyone know the price for Soho Billiard Sport Center on 298 Mulberry st.?

Check out Brownstone Billiards/Ocean's 8 in Brooklyn, if you're around there. A bit more out of the ways is Carom Cafe in Flushing. If you go in the daytime, Space Billiard Cafe in Koreatown (34W 32d St, Manhattan) is around $10/hr, but it's a little more during peak hours.

Wow if $10 per hour is cheap I'd hate to see what the average price per hour is. Makes me glad that the pool hall I visit is only $3 per hour. I don't live in NYC though so I can't help you. Good luck in finding a pool hall.
